I had yellow tape stretched right outside my cubicle, saying “Police Line, Do Not Cross.” This was a Mad Serious, Don’t-Breathe-Unless-You-Have-To Anthrax Scare.

Within seconds, a mass crescendo of cheers arose from the crowds on both sides of Broadway, as the first guys’ initial notice spread like an aural wildfire. I was now the sole participant and star of my own personal parade, down the Canyon of Heroes.
One of the highlights of 2008 was having the lyrics to my song ‘Alive’ published in Shabdagutchha, an international journal of poetry.

I got an email a few weeks ago from the booker of The Shrine, a ‘world music’ club in Harlem; she came across our EPK on sonicbids, loved our music, and booked us.
